Background: GroSolar is an emerging leader in the solar energy equipment distribution and installation industry.
Challenge: Looking to provide a value added service for their customers and to maintain a competitive edge in the market, groSolar needed an end-to-end monitoring solution that attached to existing and future solar energy installations.

They needed a complete solution which was easy to install, use, support and maintain by them and their customers alike.

Solution: Leveraging A-Team's embedded hardware and management platform, we developed a custom yet turn-key system composed of:
  • A customer deployed data collection unit featuring full remote control and firmware update capabilities to provide maximum reliability and future enhancements with a simple update push.
  • Customer, reseller and administration web sites provide real time views on all aspects of the system and deployed field units at customer sites across the globe.
  • Full server configuration, monitoring and management to power everything and keep it running 24x7.
  • Complete documentation and training for groSolar's installers, support staff and territory managers.
